eea9cf778e we can use asciidoctor to render man pages, apparently? something like:
asciidoctor -b manpage kant.1.adoc -o- | groff -Tascii -man

f3c2045d8d THIS ISN'T WORKING.
so it works for a bit on the compression, BUT... eventually i invariably get a:

So. I'm gonna try it outside of a with.
